My Pimped DS.

Well after about a month or two of having a DS flash card, i have realized that any one without one is really missing ou on the true potential of the DS. Of course having all of the games i own backed up on a single card is fantastic, but the real highlight is the homebrew software. Some of the programs i have found are awesome. For instance, DsOrganize has basically given me a fantastic pda. Not only an i view files, edit them, go online, and more, but i have the ability to save address's, use a calculator, and download more fan made games, game demos, and other software. Another piece of cool software is win2ds. It lets me use the ds as a virtual desktop, or game controller. There's also the the essentials like a dictionary and others...my laptop battery is going to die...

congratulations on your new, shiny piece of tech!! You should really get a flash cart for it. The home brew (which is shareware by the way) really brings out the heart of the system. I can't believe i went without it for so long. I am actually ordering a second piece for my ds so i can play games like quake 2. You should check out some videos of quake 2 to see how much better the game looks than most ds games.

Umm hey is the text on the two post above your last showing up. I typed words there and i remember you did too but they are not showing up anymore...I am getting my rumble/rampack tomarrow. ill get back to you on stuff that can be done withit

Wow, this is mad gay... i posted a good post detailing my new slot 2 and it showed it posted but not anymore...Well i guess ill sum it up again. I bought an EZ Flash 3 in 1. It has three functions: Rumble, Gba Rom player, and extra ram. The rumble is cool but i dont really use it. I play gba games on this quite often. It does not work like a slot 1 as in it has to load the rom to memory built in rather than having an SD card with roms on it. Small games load to the memory very fast. The larger games take a little while but remain there event when you shut it off. I can just turn on the ds and select gba game and the game i last loaded launches. The ram is what i bought it for. It works well for browsing with large images, virtual desktop software and for running games like Quake 2. Q2 runs like a charm but like on my pcs, it lags when the engine just starts.

Also there are rumors going around that Nintendo will launch a new ds with bigger screens, a camera, built in memory and ability to play musc/media out of the box.
