| this question is asked for every sequel that comes out! could it be dlc worthy? well in this case, no! the wii doesnt have a hard-drive so no dlc expansions! but so far it looks like it could be a dlc expansion pack instead of a seperate game! because all i see is new powers, yoshi, and new stages! sounds like something dlc could handle....if it wasnt on wii! well i really hope theres more new features or else i refuse to shell out 50 bucks on a half sequel |

If you have payed attention lately, recent system updates to the memory management software and hardware now allow up to, I believe, 32gb of storage via the SD card slot. These updates have encouraged developers to offer downloadable content such as song packs ( Rockband) of the Wii Shop Channel. Therefore, with the added support for larger memory chips, the Wii gains the capability of loading stored software of up to around 500mb. This potential 500mb loadable expansion provides the Wii with the tools necessary to boot full sized expansions. Although the Wii does posses such capabilities, downloading the expansions from Nintento's horrid server system may drive away even the most loyal fans. I cannot see any reason for Nintendo's lackluster investment in servers. Honestly, I feel that, with half the money available to Nintendo's online development teams, I could produce a far more effective, steady, and quick service than the service implemented currently._________________ "The British are not an inventive people, They don't eat enough pie." -Thomas Edison- Get some extreme deals: DealExtreme |
