mercenaries 2:

for those who remember mercenaries 1 you probably thought this game was pretty cool! i did! well now this ps2 classic is back and it was kinda what i expected! when i first heard of the sequel the first though game to me is "awww FUCK I DONT HAVE A 360" that was before i got a 360 and now i got it for christmas! so when i first played it i noticed nelson got a new outfit and the classic 3 is there! i expected more guns more vehicles more explosions a bigger "playground" more missions more things to do and of course co-op! well thats what we got! my complaint about co-op is you cant go very far from your partner, NO SPLIT SCREEN!, and it would have been really cool if you could have 4 players! i cant say much about weapons except they added a shot gun cus i didnt remember a shot gun from the first game! there are now rpg towers! when the alarm goes off, soldiers in a buiding will fire rpgs at you! and boy are these guys assholes! so always come armed with a tank when your attacking a base! new vehicles! when i found out that your mechanic makes custom made vehicles built for combat i was over excited! if you want to enjoy this game to the fullest you gotta work for it! first to unlock drops you either gotta do certain wagers with your employees or work for factions to get stuff in the shop! complete necessary missions to expand your "playground". i thing i really didnt like is the oil system! oil is like money! it is required to get bomb drops and supply drops! its kinda annoying how you always gotta stock up on oil but luckily you can expand your oil storage and its not very hard to find! this game has glitches as far as i know. one of them is when i drop from a plane and when i hit the ground sometimes i dont take any damage! water is no longer your sworn enemy because you can swim now. remember how hijacking a helicopter pissed you off in merc 1? well now you have a grapple! but every good thing comes with a bad thing! what i mean is you have to press certain buttons to hijack tanks and copters! (hijacking unarmed vehicles require no button pressing) so you screw up you get kicked out! when your in a helicopter DO NOT SCREW UP cus its a long way down and luckily it leaves you not dead but with 1 health point. so overall its a pretty good sequel. my other complaint is if you have merc 2 who ever lives with you will try to make their own game so you have to go options and load up your own game! pretty frustrating if noone knows how to do it! there shouldve been a radio when your on a road trip across the map. i will always complain about music if theres no AC/DC or ect. im not giving reviews ratings any more cus all i hear is complaints.
