What the hell is a neo-geo?

todays update on the wii shop channel is neo-geo games. i never even heard of a neo geo. can someone clear this up?

dude earth wasnt made by then. i dont even think space was even created. anyways im mad becuase they could have some more worthy titles. second week i have to wait for worthy games to download

I think there's defilently enogh worthy titles on there now to keep you busy. And if somehow you've bested all of those get a DS. You'll probably never finish playing all the excellent games for that. Also that pretty much includes GBA games.

It is basically the PS3 of 15 years ago. it was top line tech but it cost 600$ to buy and it kind of flopped...the games are huge i'd recommend getting an sd card if you download a bunch of the Neo-Geo titles.

How big are the games? Lets say I have Ocarina of Time on my Wii. I delete the channel from my wii. Then later i redownload it. Will I still have my saved data?

i've heard that you have to delete all other vc titles on their system to fit a single Neo title...I am expecting an update that lets you run vc titles off a sd card sometime soon. I have also heard that there are some major issues with the AV cables. Something about not working on the high def cords even when set to 480i mode. i would not recommend getting a Neo-Geo title until they fix these issues.

So if I deleted the channel from my Wii, would I keep the saved data? And I would do that if I was out of space and I wanted to download a diferent game.
