If you have a game that has a save feature (all I currently have is NES games) can you save the game, and then play it from there without having to do the home button technique?

Yes, every game still retains its save ability. But why not do the home technique and save? That's what I do. I'll save the game then just go to the Wii Menu from the game so when I start it up again, I don't have to choose to reload my game. But N64 games don't have the home save option. If you quit the game and return you will be at the point where you last saved.

Okay that's what I wanted to know.
