Super Smash Bros. Brawl Update Thread

As most of you may know, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is coming out Dec. 3 2007 for North America. And they website is updated every week day.
So I will be posting the updates everyday and giving them my own little twist.
So check back here (almost) every weekday and discus Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

Wi-Fi has been announced officially. Kinda dissapointing, I really don't think Nintendo gets it...oh well, at least we have Wi-Fi.

What dont they get? Is it going to have talkage and friend codes??? Can you PM me with the message cuz I dont wanna go back to this thread. Im trying to keep myself from looking at the updates so the game can still have some suprises.

The online is very limited. Messaging is restricted to taunts with short two or three word phrases. Friend codes are required to have even that small amount of communications. There is no ranking system for the random battle choices either.

I hope they implement some sort of ranking system because i am not that great at smash bros.

in 9 lvs. and there should be a test to see your performance. for ex if you defeat a certain enemy in this amount of time

All of my friends are just alot better than me at the game. I can beat 3 lvl 9s on a team with marth.

That is really really gay. If they're going to have online they should go all the way, not half ass it. They better change it later on.

Anyway, Smash Brothers, in my opinion, has the potential to be Nintendo's standout multi-player. If they keep up this lack luster online system they are going to lose a huge potential target audience. I'd pay 5$ or so a month to have an awesome online smash bros with regular up dates and organized tournaments.

I think everyone knows about snake. It was the biggest thing in Nintendo news for nearly a year. I think it was just a publicity stunt to build up hype around the game.
